We are so excited to be included in the Sweatpants Series at The Waterfront Venice on Friday!
The Sweatpants Series (SPS) is a great gathering for listening to music, sharing feelings, and feeling cozy in our favorite sweatpants. Created by singer and songwriter, Monica Aben, these intimate concerts are a space where songwriters can share their songs and the stories behind them to foster genuine human experiences with one another. The concept is to separate us from the digital world, break down our walls, and connect with those around us. So how do the sweatpants tie in? Sweatpants are undoubtedly some of the most comfortable clothes, so consequently we feel comfortable to be ourselves when wearing them.

Through each SPS, donations go back to Safe Place for Youth. Based in Venice, Safe Place for Youth is a homeless youth services center. Their mission is to “Inspire, nurture, and empower the resilient human spirit of homeless youth by providing immediate and lasting solutions, one young person at a time”. They evoke hope and a sense of community through their outreach, employment opportunities, and inclusivity.
We have partnered with SPS and SPY and will be selling sweatpants and other loungewear with 30% of each sale going back to SPY.
We are inspired by organizations like SPS and SPY through their efforts to bring together people for a greater cause and spark awareness around what is going on in the community and how we can help out.
Check out the Eventbrite page here for more info and Monica’s new single Feels So Good, which will be performed live at the event!
Can’t wait to see you all there!
