HEMP

Hemp is a soil regenerating crop which restores balance to it's environment by cleaning the soil, air and water. It can thrive in even nurtient-poor soil where other crops can't be grown. It's grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers using GMO-free seeds.

We love hemp fabric for it's naturally antibacterial and thermal regulating properties (it helps keep you from getting too cold or hot!). The fabric is very durable yet gets softer with each wash.

Our hemp fabric features a blend of both Hemp and Organic Cotton for a super clean and toxin-free garment. We dye our products with bluesign™ dyes to keep your skin and local watersheds safe.

UNDER 100 FOOTSTEPS 
From our design studio, to the production line, it
it takes under 100 (foot)steps to complete a garment.
We make and finish each garment in our own proprietary
factory here in Los Angeles.

LIMITED RUNS
We believe in sufficient, not excess, so we built our business
on a limited run model. We don’t over produce and we don’t
ever send a garment to landfill.

NATURAL FIBERS
We source third-party certified plant based fibers, like GOTS
Organic Cotton, that are as safe for the growers as they are
for your skin.

LOCAL SOURCING
We are LA, as we care about all things local. By forming
partnerships with local mills, we are able to shrink most
of our sourcing to within a 10-mile radius.

DEADSTOCK
Our close relationships with LA-based fabric mills also allow
us to source excess yardage bound for the the landfill. We take
to time to design and make something beautiful and lasting.

PEOPLE FIRST
The absolute beating heart of the company is the community
of people who design, create, and make LA RELAXED. That is
why we refuse to pay anything less than a living wage as we
cultivate a respectful and collaborative atmosphere.
